Version 1.1.0 of the Mailman Component now supports both Mailman 2.1.11 and 2.1.12 (see http://www.list.org)

The TNR Mailman Extension is a way for Joomla! administrators to integrate Mailman with their Joomla! websites. Mailman, the GNU Mailing List Manager, is free software for managing electronic mail discussion and e-newsletter lists. The TNR Mailman extension allows website users to manage their mailing list subscriptions and options from within a Joomla! website.  Users can subscribe or unsubscribe from available mailing lists and update user-options like digest mode and password reminder.

The administrator has complete power over which mailing lists specific users or groups have access to.  Don't want all users to see the website-dev list?  No problem; group-level access has got you covered.  Additionally, this extensions allows administrators to make certain users automatically subscribed to given lists and even has an option to subscribe new users to one or more lists!

The TNR Mailman Extension does not require mailing lists to be advertised on the server nor does it require shell access to the Mailman machine.  End the disconnect between your mailing lists and your website - install the TNR Mailman Extension today!

January 11, 2010: Version 1.1 Released^new!

Version 1.1 allows visitors to search the database without  logging into the website.

The Yahrzeit Reminders Extension allows users to subscribe to a yearly reminder before the Yahrzeit date of a loved one.

Entries can be added from the front end of the site (with proper permissions) or from the back end. When adding an entry, Hebrew day and month is required OR English day, month and year. You may import names and dates (Hebrew dates or English dates) from a CSV file into the database. Hebrew/English date conversion is included. The text of the standard reminder email can be edited by site administrator.

The TNR Events Mailer creates a newsletter from upcoming JEvents items. For the TNR Events Mailer to work, both the component and the module must be installed.

Two versions are available. The new version works with JEvents 1.5.2. It is not compatible with any previous versions of JEvents.

If you are running JEvents 1.4.3rc, please download and install the 'old' component and module. The old extension is not compatible with JEvents 1.5.
