I have been using your Newsletter Mailing Extension for several weeks. It is not auto sending. I have the component in enable on the front end. When I login to view the status it will say it was sent earlier in the day. It does not arrive to my inbox. If I use the preview/Send function then the e-mail is generated and sent correctly. I am using the PHP mail function in Joomla 1.5.7. I would appreciate any light you might be able to shed on this. I do have a Cron Job Set to access the site. I set it up with a Cron Manager

Hi Tom,
Seems like there are a few things you should check to resolve this. First, make sure the Events Mailer *Module* is installed and published in the front-end. You can check this by going to the backend > Extensions > Module Manager. The position of the module is also important because if your template doesn't define a specific position (like `debug` for example), then the module might not be called. Beyond that, it may be an email problem. There is a possibility that the mail may be being marked as spam. Check your email's spam filter or ask your hosting provider if they can see anything in their mail logs. Hope that helps!

I have the same problem (it does not send automatically). The module starts. It updates DB however it stops in simpleshow.php

My knowledge of php is not enoght to figure out what is wrong at this point.

Can you provide the actual error message you're seeing? That file should be in the same directory as simpleshow.php and there shouldn't be an error on that line.

Also - what version of JEvents are you using?
